The Grand Canyon

How can a description of Arizona not start without the Grand Canyon, one of the most famous places in America, and arguably in the world? This enormous canyon was been formed over millions of years by the sides of the Colorado river. Other than going for long drives, the adventurous sorts have a treat lined up in activities like rafting, hiking and mountain biking.

Tip: Walk on the glass floor of the Skywalk to get a phenomenal view of the Grand Canyon

Hoover dam

Second in line would obviously be the Hoover Dam. It has been long regarded as a sheer feat of American engineering. This dam straddles the border between the states of Arizona and Nevada. Tip: Don’t forget to visit the Memorial Bridge nearby. The views are unforgettable.

Saguaro National Park

Phoenix Museum
